About our Mainstage Productions

CB Productions is a literature-based theatre company and has been producing fully-staged productions since 2003, each show selling to nearly sold-out audiences. We currently rent the beautiful 250 seat WELLSTONE THEATRE located in The Neighborhood House in S. St Paul. All productions are under the direction of Artistic Director, Carla Barwineck and a team of professional designers from in and around the Twin Cities area. Ms Barwineck has over 30 years of experience teaching, directing and working in educational theatre and is the Founder of SteppingStone Theatre Company in St Paul, where she worked as the Artistic/Executive Director from 1987-1997.

CB Productions is committed to developing and providing the highest quality theatre programs that challenge and encourage students, audiences and artists to reach their highest potential. All of our actors participate in a rigorous and progressive actor’s training program taught by CB Production’s Artistic Director, Carla Barwineck and Joy Carlson, Resident Teaching Artist (go to the Classes link for current listings)

Are you shows appropriate for young children?

CB Productions works diligently to create shows that are appropriate for entire families and groups of various ages and yet challenging to our teen actors; however we cannot predict everyone’s sensibilities. The age range listed for each show is a guideline suggesting what age might enjoy the story most. Since our shows are adapted from literature, we strongly recommend that before ordering tickets you read the material and judge as to whether the story would be appropriate for your family or group. There will be a short Q & A session after each show.

Where are the performances held? Where do we park?

Performances are held at the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Theater at The Neighborhood House at 179 Robie St. E., St. Paul, 55107. There is a free parking in the ramp conveniently attached to the building.

 All shows are General Admission.

Is there tax on my ticket orders?
